  • Februay 2002-June 2003: design the architecture of IPsec for a proprietly small device, and support the team to develop it.
  • July 2003-December 2004: design the architecture a secure plug and play system, and develop a server side feature.

• April 1998-: Core Researcher at KAME project
  • IPSec(RFC2401) implementation.

  The project provides a free IPv6 and IPsec (for both IPv4 and IPv6) stack for BSD variants to the world. He is researching and developing the stack, in particular, IPsec system.

• April 1996-October 1998: Researcher and developer at Yokogawa Corporation on loan.
  • November 1996-March 1998: network design at Yokogawa corporation.
  • April 1996-March 1998: YIPS(Yokogawa IP security) server project.
  
  The project was planned to implement some security functions into a UNIX system. There were IP filtering, VPN, security alerting and separated DNS as security function. He had researched and developed VPN function. The project had been discontinued by budget issue. But the patch of VPN function was released by himself at March 1998.

• October 1995-June 2001: Network researcher and developer at YDC Corporation
  • November 1995-April 1996: design a machine control protocol to the Canon Inc.
  
  This protocol was implemented on UDP, and has reliability of communication. A user can reduse to take care of the reliability, because this is provided by library.
